Garden Tour

One thing that a visitor quickly learns about the Murcott garden is that there are no rules when touring. Visitors join tours in the middle and Rich just starts over again when one tour group is finished. The tour section of the site is designed to do the same thing. There is no logic to the order of the pictures, they are simply some snap shots of nice views of the garden. The three main areas of the garden have their own characteristics. The front part of the garden has some of the largest Rhododendrons and is relatively open. There is a grass path that goes between the garden, but much of it is overridden with flowers. The back of the house and side contain a nice collection of a variety of flowers. There are two lawns: one small and one larger that are rimmed with flowers as well that are maintained by Rich's wife Mary. The "back back" of the house is where the youngest Rhodendrons grow and share space with the Chrysanthemums.

The descriptions of the pages were not written by Rich so they could be inaccurate in some sections and they're definitely not well written or even interesting. Start the tour with the hotlink below.
